“The Voice” is one of the two parts of the Uluru Statement from the Heart, which was released in 2017 from a convention of 250 Indigenous leaders. The implementation of “The Voice” part of the Uluru Statement is now (2023) underway in the form of a bill before the Australian parliament. On Saturday, 14 October 2023, Australians will vote on a single question to change the Constitution.
