Unboxed Dialogue Historically Speaking Segment Trailer
Trailer
In this trailer of a upcoming episode we highlight the journal of Columbus. Born in 1451 in Genoa, Italy, he completed four voyages across the Atlantic Ocean, opening the way for widespread European exploration and colonization of the Americas. Though often credited with "discovering" the New World in 1492, he actually landed in the Bahamas, where Indigenous peoples had lived for centuries. His legacy is mixed: hailed for connecting Europe and the Americas but condemned for brutal practices against Native populations.
