What do you do when life feels like too much to carry?

In Psalm 61:1-8, David writes from a place of weakness, exhaustion, and overwhelming circumstances. His answer was not to simply become stronger. Instead, he cried out to God and prayed, “Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” When you feel overwhelmed, God invites you to cry out, climb higher, remember His faithfulness, and abide in His presence.

You don’t overcome an overwhelmed heart by becoming stronger. You overcome an overwhelmed heart by becoming anchored to Someone stronger than you.
