Episode notes

Guest speaker Alex Ayala teaches from Psalm 32. The psalmist, David, speaks of himself hiding sin that led to his body dying on the inside until he acknowledged his sins to God who quickly forgave him. Based on David's experience, he tells his readers that there's no fear in revealing the darkest parts of ourselves to God. He wants believers to rejoice and sing songs to the God who responds to their confessed sins with unfailing love, the lifting of guilt, and songs of deliverance.

  • Blessed is the person who is forgiven (v1-2)
  • Acknowledged my sin to God (v3-5)
  • You will preserve me from trouble (v6-8)
  • Don't be like the horse or mule (v9-10)
  • Rejoice, you who are righteous (v11)
