Twin Cities Double Up

by Mister Brock
A Little Ray of Deathcore
What's more extreme then hardcore? DEATHCORE! If you don't know what that is then you are not alone so join Mister Brock as he brings on deathcore vocalist Ray Walsh to give him a run down on the industry. Ray comes to us from Rosemount, MN and has been making music under the name Feet in the Fire since 2020. His single "Trials of Faith" has caught some attention, and we wanted to know the journey of the man behind the voice. As always, we play a rapid-fire round of Burning Questions and Ray shares with us his "hypothetical" plans for disposing of a dead body. http://itunes.apple.com/album/id/1679271954 https://open.spotify.com/album/7oTRB3aREiqogwYrf1PZcr
Plugging Away With Rich Da Plug
Long before Twin Cities Double Up was a thought and back in the days before my house burnt to the ground, I had a neighbor named Rich Da Plug. He was always great for a quick chat on the walk to the mailbox or to haul your garbage cans off the curb before you got home from work. Unfortunately, our paths diverged, and we lost touch for years, but the stars aligned, and we reconnected, and I thought what better way than to catch up on an air during an episode of the show. Tune in as Rich shares his experience with the talented up and coming artists he works with at the High School for Recording Arts in St. Paul which just celebrated another one of their graduates winning a Grammy. As always, we end with a session of burning questions and seeds are planted for future collaborations.
Money Talk with Mister Brock
Twin Cities Double Up jumps the border and heads to Wisconsin for the Doghouse Wrestling show in Clear Lake. Some former stars of the show stop by for an interview. That's right, we are joined once again by not just new number one contender for the Doghouse Belt Money Miguel but also his two biggest fans that just so happen to share the money name. Juelz and Ailiyah charm us once again as they chime in on some burning questions with answers to make your head spin. Join us as we find out what's next for this young and up and coming and champ and more importantly find out why his five your old sister hates pens and chairs.
Your Kung Fu is No Match for Erik's Panda Style
If you've ever wondered what happens when you combine the high-flying action of Lucha wrestling with the cute and cuddly charisma of the Panda, then you are in for a treat today! We were able to track down the man who has mastered the art of Panda style and is bringing it to the ring. King of the Panda Style, Erik Only, joins Mister Brock in studio for a chat about the finer things in life like how to dispose of a dead body and favorite smells. We hear about the beefs the Panda man currently has in the industry and make sure to call out our enemies by name. Don't forget to find the video of this on Youtube and like and subscribe to everything Twin Cities Double Up.
Catching Hands and Bully Brands Usher in the Age of Rage
The stage is set for another live show as Mister Brock heads to Northern Lights Wrestling to watch his main man Jason Rage take on Pork Chop and Shay Diesel for the NLW Championship Belt. We take some time before the match to catch up with Mr. BullyBrand himself and hear about the Ink Fusion Expos as well as meet the newest vendor to join the team. Tara Childers from C.T.H. Massage talks about what makes her hands stand out in the industry and be sure to get a taste for yourself next time you are in the Twin Cities! If you haven't been following the Jason Rage story, go back and check out the episode Despite Jason Rage, I am Still Just a Rat in a Cage to hear what makes this wrestler so special then tune in to hear him take the belt ushering in the Age of Rage in 2025!
Lucky Duck vs. Goldberg the Goalie
Mister Brock heads north to LogJammerz to meet up with tattoo artist Deven Current, owner of Lucky Duck Ink and Art. Last September, we watched his shop take home fifteen awards at the Ink Fusion Expos and I have been dying to catch up with him since. Lucky Duck Ink and Art is quickly making a name for itself, and we want to know the secret to their success. They may have even caught the eye of a Minnesota legend (with a little nudge from Mister Brock) who pops in for a cameo to try to get himself a little piece of the Lucky Duck action. That's right, Shaun Weiss (Goldberg the Goalie from the Mighty Ducks) shares some words of encouragement for the shop on this very special Holiday episode of Twin Cities Double Up.
You Can't Spell Wrestling Without Michael Pam
What happens when two great podcasters collide? Not sure. But if you tune in to this week's episode you will find out what happens when Michael's Corner and Twin Cities Double Up team up for the first time ever! Michael is well known throughout the independent wrestling world in the Twin Cities and it's safe to say if you have been to a local show, you have seen him front row. He is the one screaming the loudest and bringing the most heat and often times a heel's worst enemy. Luckily, outside of the ring, Michael is one of the kindest, huge hearted people I know who lives for bringing joy to others as much as he loves wrestling. I'm happy to have him on as a guest, but happier to call him one of my closest friends in the industry. Listen as we finally give Michael his platform to tear apart a certain WWE game and hear my friend Timbo Slice swing by with some of his homemade barbeque sauce.
Fly Too Close to the Sun and Find Out
Explicit
The King of the Dead swings by Twin Cities Double Up this week to grace us with his deathly presence and has brought his entire family to the set. We get to hear from the Queen of the Dead, his lovely bride Emily, as the spitfire from beyond the grave, little miss Ana. We talk about what it takes to be the wife behind a rising star like Icarus Alexander, as well as hear the story of how the two met. Little Ana chimes throughout the show to make her points heard and we prepare for the King's shot at the title at Iron Heart the upcoming weekend. Will we see the King of the Dead take his throne at Iron Heart? You're going to have to tune in to see how this saga unfolds!
Despite Jason Rage, I am Still Just a Rat in a Cage
The Rage is back in the studio for another round on Double Up. When we last spoke, Jason Rage was just beginning to make a name for himself in the industry and still a little wet behind the ears but since then we have seen a massive transformation both physically and in general demeanor for this young psychopath. Not only this, but he has since held a title belt triumphantly over his head and is facing off to do it again for the NLW Championship belt the following weekend. We take time discuss the hardcore match held between him and Icarus Alexander that had the crowd cringing in horror, as well as the diet and exercise routine that has been the backbone to his success in the ring. You do not want to miss this epsiode, or better yet, check him out live, in person, at the next Northern Lights Wrestling event!
Mo' Money Mo' Problem (Don't Worry, We're Taking it Back)
Where there's smoke there's fire and where there's huge up and coming talent in the wrestling industry, there's Money Miguel. Twin Cities Double Up gets their first official interview with this rising star and we are seeing a different side of this young man. He is looking to break from the rookie status and establish himself as a staple in the industry and is not afraid to let people know, starting with his old mentor Rampage Santana (who may or may not pop in for a quick brrt brrt brrt). You do not want to miss this episode that we recorded at not one but two different wrestling promotions this week. Thank you to Iron Heart Pro and Doghouse Wrestling as always for letting us be a part of the fun and make sure you tune in as we continue bring you all the best interviews from all the best shows!
