Pieter Malegeer, co-founder of Footprint Inc., discussed his journey from control and automation engineering to founding a 3D print service company specializing in large objects. He mentions that the cost of 3D printing shoes is currently around €70-€160, but expects it to decrease as the technology advances. Bhavya encourages aspiring designers to experiment with 3D printing, suggesting local Fab Labs as accessible resources.
