Townsville residents are reeling from a fatal crash in the eastern suburbs that killed a 12-year-old boy and injured three others, while a grieving grandmother is taking in three orphaned children. A 78-year-old woman also bravely stopped home invaders using a whistle and flashlight in a nearby neighborhood.
