From Mickey Mouse, Tom and Jerry to Hannah Barbara, this cartoon definitely belongs on that list for it’s impact on the universe of cartoons. There was the world before Ren and Stimpy and the one after, and I am so glad that I am alive to see the one after. This show has hands down made my childhood what it is, if not directly then definitely indirectly, almost every cartoon that has come after it pays homage to it in some way or another. All of our modern wacky cartoons are thanks to the creators of Ren and Stimpy who pushed the limits on animation to where anyone with a wild imagination can have the time of their life.
