Episode notes
When God speaks, will we listen? In 1 Samuel 3–4, we see the word of the Lord break through after a long silence as young Samuel learns to recognize God’s voice. At the same time, Eli’s sons continue in corruption, and judgment falls on their house just as God had warned. Israel suffers defeat, the ark is captured, and it seems like all hope is lost. Yet even in this painful pruning, God is preparing to raise up Samuel and restore His people. This chapter reminds us that God’s discipline is not rejection—it’s the beginning of renewal.
