Exodus 25-27 - Directions for the Tabernacle and its Furnishings
Through the Bible with Pastor Paul by Paul LeBoutillier
Episode notes
Why does God give such detailed instructions for a tent in the wilderness? In Exodus 25–27, the Lord reveals His design for the tabernacle and its furnishings—the Ark of the Covenant, the table of the bread of the Presence, the golden lampstand, and the altar. Pastor Paul shows how each item points to Jesus: the ark and mercy seat speak of God’s presence and forgiveness, the bread reveals Christ as the bread of life, and the lampstand points to Him as the light of the world. You’ll discover how even the veil and courtyard layout remind us of the separation sin caused and the access Jesus opened through His sacrifice.
