Asymmetrical Insight Bias is one of the simplest bias that we all have. It is easy to forget that there are complexities to all of us when judging others. To fully understand our own life is an impossible task, so to try and understand the depths of everyone in our life is absurd, so our brain creates shortcuts for caricatures because that is all we need to survive.

It is up to us to put in the work to fight our brains reductionist tendencies.
