Veterans Day

This Day in His-Story by American Heritage Worldwide

Episode notes

On November 11, we celebrate Veterans Day—a time to honor all who have served in the United States Armed Forces, both past and present. Originally known as Armistice Day to mark the end of World War I in 1918, it became Veterans Day in 1954 to recognize the service and sacrifice of every American veteran. From the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier to ceremonies across the nation, we remember those who have defended freedom with courage and devotion. As we express gratitude to our veterans, may we also find ways to serve others and stand for truth, liberty, and faith in His Story today.
