Q&A | Russia and Ukraine, how should we respond?
This week’s episode is taken from a Q&A session on how Christians should respond to the Russia/Ukraine war. It’s a continuation from a talk Max gave previously, called 'Why bother with the war in Ukraine?', so if you haven’t listened to it yet, make sure you check it out on our podcast. In light of Thomas Friedman's theory that commerce and trade should be a pathway to peace, we still see many tensions and conflicts around the world; political and otherwise. Is there a solution? We’ve tried money, we’ve tried pop culture, we’ve tried politics. How can we bring about peace? How as Christians should we perceive war and how should we respond to what’s going on in Ukraine? In response to the Russia/Ukraine war, we’ve seen some strong anti-east sentiment, and also some strong anti-west sentiment. What is the appropriate response and how should we view what’s going on politically? Amidst all the tensions and conflicts going on in the world today, how do we find true peace? The questions in this recording were originally posed by banking executives in Singapore in April 2022. Although we have re-recorded the questions due to technical issues with the original, Max's answers are what he gave in real time. We're social!
