What’s UP? On today’s episode Laura Sextro, CEO of The Unity Project, sits down with Dr. Aaron Kheriaty, Chief of Medical Ethics here at the Unity Project. He’s an MD, physiatrist, and for more than 15 years, a Professor of Psychiatry at University of California Irvine School of Medicine and Director of the Medical Ethics Program at UCI Health.
He also served on the ethics committees for the California Department of State Hospitals. This was until he was terminated in December for not complying with their unconstitutional vaccine mandate and is currently in litigation fighting his wrongful termination.
We kick off this episode by talking about the ramifications of AB 2098, the California bill that just passed the assembly and would hinder the rights of doctors to practice medicine in the state.
