Season 1
Silhouettes of A Treasured Heritage - A Princeton Accredited Book.
In this episode, we talk about the successful novel, which Mrs Stella Osammor herself, wrote and has been used by Princeton University as part of their curriculum. The book explores the personal journey of a young mixed-race Afro-Scottish woman, called Miranda, who uses her African culture to heal deep wounds, caused by explicit and implicit racism she is forced to endure, during the 60s. We also explore the relevance of the book in 2021 and how biracial identity and the pursuit of belonging is something which we all share!
African Veganism, The Benefits of Palm Oil and Much More!
In this episode, we look at the medicinal properties of African food and herbs. We also delve deeper into just how healthy African food is and how easy African food can be adapted to suit vegan and vegetarian diets!
Portuguese African History, The Moors and Much More!
In our second episode, we look at the African influence on world culture and history, and we explore the striking evidence of the presence of Africans, as far as Europe and other places!
