    Erin Heily I started working with seniors while I was with the City of Alameda Fire Department. I attended the NFA Promote your Program Class where I presented the first Senior Fall and Fire Safety Program, which was funded by a FEMA grant. By the end of the week over half of the class participants decided to start senior safety programs in their cities. It was a huge success for the citizens as well as the Fire Department. I currently work in Senior Living in Bellevue WA, I am also a Certified End of Life Doula. As an End-of-Life doula and Grief coach, Kathleen is a trainer for the Gentle Passage Doula Collective training caregivers and those who have a calling to move death back home to the community. Kathleen coaches families and individuals through the process of dying and grieving in an effort to limit suffering, and provide ease while focusing on what’s most important and meaningful at end of life. Kathleen provides evidence-based practices and is committed to her professional development taking hundreds of hours of training to optimize her skills. Kathleen to mentors and coaches’ families, individuals, and groups through the process of personalized self-care practices that have been shown to dramatically support health, transformation, and healing.
