Being that we shot this episode around thanksgiving we dive into the background, culture, and opinions surrounding the holiday of “Thanksgiving”. For most it’s a festive time full of cheer, and good memories, while for others it can be a constant reminder of loss, hurt, or sorrow. When dealing with those who seem to shoulder a heavier load around this time of year, E shares a few points that are key to offer aid:

1) Having empathy for someone’s situation and understanding where that person is mentally at that time.

2) Ask a question or question from a place of love, before thrusting into the situation attempting to help.

3) Have the spirit to engage in conversation with the person, the intention to listen more than speak.
