Kachina and Coyote's Kachina Dance// Grade 4
The Morning Lesson - Waldorf Stories for the Classroom or Ho... by Laura Keys
Episode notes
This is a presentation about the Kachinas of the Hopi people and a interesting little story from a traditional teller named Kwáyeshva who is an Oraíbi member. You can google this teller to find more Kachina and traditional Hopi stories from the Southwest peoples of the United States. I am telling this story to my current online 4th graders for their geography block, but it could be used in 3rd and in 5th as well.
