The Last 27 Years Podcast featuring Preethi Balasubramony

Preethi is a lawyer who is married, lives in Sydney’s North shore and has two boys. But scratch the surface of this traditional success story and you find this amazingly quirky, witty, super smart woman who I had soooo much fun recording with. One of my favourite stories involved her making different voices at the dinner table during covid lockdown, so her kids felt like more people were there! I hope you all love this episode as much as I loved recording it. To support the making of this podcast, the subscriptions and maintaining of the sites, please donate to: gofund.me/4bc3310d

Her work life has taught her "not to sweat" the small stuff and this attitude has bled beautifully into her family life. Emma still regularly stays in touch with many friends from high school and counts them as some of her most valuable supports.

The Last 27 Years Podcast Episode 17 featuring Michelle Zeltzer

Michelle is a mother of two teenage girls and a young son she's had with her second husband. She lives happily in Bondi in Sydney and balances work as a lawyer with her numerous family commitments. Michelle prioritised an amicable divorce for the sake of her children (and everyone else!) and has a relationship with her daughter's father most would envy, allowing the whole family to attend special events without unnecessary tension. That's something not many have achieved. Michelle has always been larger than life, with her humour and good nature shining through as much today as it ever did. I enjoyed catching up with Michelle and I hope you guys do too, just as much xx Michelle owns and runs Quest in Goulburn with her second husband and so they travel down the m5 ALL THE WAY quite often lol passing Campbelltown on their way BACK into Sydney! The Last 27 Years Podcast Episode 15 featuring Polina Ryuntyu

Polina is one of those rare people who knew eaxctly what job they wanted to do, went for it straight out of high school, and found it to be both a challenging and fulfilling career. Polina is a mother of two and lives with her husband in East Sydney. Polina is conscious of privilege and is invested in cultivating in her children (as much as possible!) an appreciation of how fortunate they are. Polina is a trail runner and volunteers with Pets in the Park, using her specialised skills as a vet to give back to the greater community. Like most of us, she's striving for balance in her life at this age. Hope you enjoy this catch up with Polina! I did. xx
