My guest is documentary filmmaker Cheryl Fabio. Her latest film A Rising Tide shines a spotlight on the issue of homelessness in Oakland California and Alameda County with an emphasis on the impact it has on women and children of color. Cheryl is also the executive director of the Sara Webster Fabio Center for Social Justice, which aims to elevate and support black voices in the areas of art, social justice, and community building.
