With several children recently disappearing near the forest — and reports of a strange figure with roots covering its face attempting to lure others toward the treeline — Evelyn and Daniel are asked to keep watch from the broadcast station.
But while searching through an old storage closet, they discover something that may be even more important than whatever the cameras are meant to capture.
Hidden behind a piece of plywood inside the wall are fourteen cassette tapes, numbered and left behind by someone who once worked at the station.
