After the "Golden Era" ended and the sets and print runs exploded, what are the features of cards that guide the space in their collecting journeys? I dive into some examples of case hits, especially Kabooms, that have stood out from the noise. Does this make sense? I posit some of my theories about why we have seen explosive growth in many of the modern/ultramodern case hits as well as concerns about why the growth may or may not make sense or be sustainable 1, 5 or 10 years from now.
