Go and Do Likewise | Luke 10

What does it really mean to love our neighbors? In this message from Northeast Christian Church, Pastor Justin Larkin walks through Jesus’ parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10 and challenges us to move beyond simply knowing what God says to actually doing what God says. God loves to do extraordinary things through ordinary people. We may not feel impressive, qualified, or “spiritual enough,” but God can use us exactly where He has placed us to lead others toward Jesus. Through the story of the Good Samaritan, we’re reminded that love doesn’t require agreement before it takes action. The Samaritan saw someone in need and chose to serve him, while others simply walked past. Jesus’ command is simple: “Go and do likewise.” Our service doesn’t have to be dramatic. It can look like buying someone lunch, checking in on a friend, helping someone move, sitting with someone in the hospital, or simply noticing someone who needs help. We don't have to change someone's entire life—we just have to be willing not to walk past them. Pastor Justin also reminds us of the love Christ demonstrated for us: while we were still sinners, Jesus died for us. You’ve Got One Job: Lead People to Jesus

What if the most important mission God has given you isn’t something you need to add to your already-busy schedule—but something you can live out right where you are? Don't Quit: Keep Doing Good Even When It's Hard
