John, a middle schooler at Maple Middle, arrives early to an empty school and gets framed for a mysterious vandalism. Upon investigation, he and his classmates discover these mysterious coincidences were not an accident.
John and his friends interview Maya, a girl with hyperacusis which gives her the ability to single out conversations in a busy room. Through this episode, they learn of teasing, bullies, possible romance, and mysterious rumors.
The rumors Connor spread were true; John and his friends discover a completely demolished gym, with a giant crater sunk in the middle. Through this content-packed episode, they investigate the new attack, interview Connor, confront Camden, participate in a chase scene, piece all the clues together, recover footage, and finally unmask the culprit behind all these attacks.
