Can Your Body Hold Your Idea? Why Nervous System Regulation Matters for Founders
The RobinsonHewitt Pod: The Next Era of Tech by Alison Mackie
Episode notes
Can your body hold your idea? Because in the next era of founders and leadership, the biggest limitation may not be access to knowledge, tools, or technology. It may be our capacity to actually carry what we are creating.
Today, we take a look at this from an anthropological perspective. Human beings evolved to survive within tribes, where standing out, being misunderstood, or risking rejection could have real consequences. And the same nervous systems that once protected us are now navigating a world where innovation requires us to be visible, uncertain, and different.
Across history, the people who changed the world were not simply those with the best ideas. They were the ones who developed the capacity to hold uncertainty, criticism, and complexity long enough for those ideas to become reality.
