In this episode, I want to approach the theme of growing through the maelstrom in four parts. First, I’m going to keep embracing the cringe, and will perform another Gaunate piece called Rougelike, with the theme of approaching the apocalypse from various angles. Second, I will tell the story of my experience literally gardening through the 2020 powerful derecho storm that smashed across Iowa, and the newfound community I shared in the aftermath.

Third, I will share my current experience growing in this spring's social and political maelstrom, what exciting gardening plans I have for the year and what I am currently doing.
