Good afternoon. Maine. I'm DJ Huzz. Step outside right now and you're feeling 36 degrees under clear skies. Feels almost calm. But winter's got one more card to play. In the next 24 hours. The South Coast takes the hit tonight. Portland climbs to 35 this afternoon as clouds roll in. Then right around 6 P.M., the snow starts falling. It comes down heaviest around 1 A.M. — expect 2 to 4 inches by sunrise. Friday morning's commute? Plan extra time. Push inland to Augusta and the story softens. You'll hit 30 degrees today. Snow holds off until after 1 A.M. and you're looking at less than half an inch total. Bangor and points north mostly dodge this one. Bangor tops out at 28 under mostly cloudy skies. No significant snow. Downeast stays dry too with highs near 30. The Western Mountains see 27 today, then drop to 12 overnight. And up in The County?  ...
