And it's bringing snow that'll make your evening commute interesting. Snow kicks off along the coast around 7 P.M. and spreads north by 9 P.M. The heaviest punch lands between 8 P.M. and 3 A.M. In the next 24 hours. Where you live matters. Bangor and Downeast take the biggest hit. 2 to 4 inches of fresh snow piling up overnight. Portland sees similar totals, though the coast might flirt with a rain mix late. Drive north into The County and it's a different story. Houlton barely gets a dusting. Maybe an inch.
