Good morning. Maine. I'm DJ Huzz. Folks, high pressure is firmly in control today. That means plenty of sunshine and quiet conditions across the state. but don't get too comfortable. A big warm-up is charging in for Saturday. In the next 24 hours. Step outside this afternoon and you'll feel a chill in the air. Temperatures are holding in the 20s and low 30s. Down in Portland, you're heading toward 36 degrees. That's about 4 degrees above normal for late February — feels like a nice break. Up in Bangor, expect a high near 32. The Western Mountains are cooler, topping out near 29 degrees. and up in The County? You're the cold spot today, sitting at 26 degrees. Tonight stays mostly clear.
