Folks, you woke up to an inch and a half of fresh snow.. And wind that's trying to rearrange your recycling bins. Temperatures are sitting around 22 degrees. The snow's done, but blowing snow is cutting visibility, especially along the coast. Today's your breather before the next round hits.
Let's take a drive. Down in Portland, you'll hit 30 degrees around 3 P.M. Winds shift northwest to west by 7 A.M., gusting to 30 miles an hour before easing this afternoon. Tonight drops to 10 degrees by 4 A.M. With gusts to 15 around 5 A.M. Step outside tomorrow morning and it'll feel like 5 degrees.
Push inland to Augusta. High of 29 degrees around 3 P.M. Tonight plunges to 7 degrees by 4 A.M. Winds shift around midnight with gusts to 15 miles an hour near 5 A. ...
