When Paul delayed visiting Corinth, they assumed betrayal, but Paul proved that changing plans does not mean changing love. True love is not measured by immediate compliance or doing what others demand; sometimes it requires stepping back with tears to prevent deeper sorrow. We readily invent toxic narratives from silence and disappointment, punishing others with stories we created. Yet good intentions never excuse poor communication. While human itineraries fail, God’s promises remain an unwavering "Yes," challenging us to stop letting unmet expectations destroy our love.
