How far have you come, and where are you going? Today in Numbers, we review the "travel log" of Israel—a list of every stop from Egypt to the Jordan—reminding us that God was present in every camp along the way. We then see the specific boundaries of the land they are about to inherit. In the New Testament, we see Jesus provide a feast in the wilderness for 5,000 people, followed by a sobering conversation: if we want to inherit the Kingdom, we must be willing to take up our cross and follow Him.
