What does it look like to offer our best to God? Today in Numbers, we witness a massive display of generosity as the leaders of Israel bring their offerings for the dedication of the Altar. In the Gospel of Luke, we see a different kind of dedication: the infant Jesus is brought to the Temple, where the faithful Simeon and Anna recognize Him as the light of the nations and the redemption of Jerusalem.
