The Person You’re Becoming Needs You To Let Go .
Sometimes becoming the woman you’re meant to be requires you to let go of the girl you once were. In this episode, we’re talking about the uncomfortable but necessary process of releasing old identities, friendships, habits, expectations, and versions of ourselves that we’ve simply outgrown. We can spend so much time focusing on who we want to become that we forget becoming also requires making room—and sometimes that means leaving behind the things that once felt familiar, comfortable, or even safe. We’ll talk about letting go of people-pleasing, the need to be understood, friendships that no longer feel aligned, habits that keep us comfortable, and the timelines we thought our lives were supposed to follow. Most importantly, we’ll talk about surrendering our need to control what comes next and trusting that God can lead us somewhere better than anything we could have planned for ourselves. Letting go doesn’t mean you hate your past or regret who you were. It means you can honor the girl who got you here without asking her to come with you everywhere you’re going. The girl you’re becoming needs space to grow, change, heal, and discover who she really is. So maybe this season isn’t about becoming someone completely new—it’s about finally releasing everything that has been keeping you from becoming who you already are. Thank her. Forgive her. Love her. And then let her go.
