Sunshine: The gang turns its attention to the sun, humanity’s favorite giant ball of nuclear fire and, apparently, a remarkably popular way to end civilization. After detours through Knowing, Powder, cow-fart-fueled solar disasters, and the unfortunate hypothetical sequel Afterbirth, they dive into Danny Boyle’s Sunshine.

The verdict: Sunshine still looks fantastic, but its mission might have gone considerably better if everyone had simply listened to Chris Evans—leading to the far superior title Captain America in Space.
