September 11, 2001, is one of those days when almost everyone who lived through it remembers exactly where they were.
For me, I was at work with my dad. My mom had taken my sister to a doctor’s appointment, so I had gone to work with him. Someone came into his office and said, “Mike, a plane just flew into a building.” There was an old TV in the entryway that we normally used for training videos. We turned on the news, and I remember watching as the second plane hit the World Trade Center.
At that moment, we knew this wasn’t an accident. America was under attack.
