S2 E9 | Embracing The 'Don't Know' Mind with Jacqui Lewis

In this weeks episode I talk to Jacqui Lewis. Jacqui runs The Broad Place, A School for Creativity, Clarity and Consciousness and they are all about sharing ancient knowledge and modern neuroscience, tools such as meditation and in person experiences for higher grade living. Jacqui is such a wise soul and embodies such a beautiful balance of esoteric and spiritual ideas but also grounds it all in the realness and crappiness that can come with being a human. She also bring joy, lightness and fun to a space that can often take itself a little too seriously. We talk everything from consciousness to connecting to our humaness, new versions of leadership and embracing this idea of the "don't know" mind. I highly recommend you check out Jacqui and her work which you can find below The Broad Place The Broad Place Instagram Stories of Being Instagram

S2 E8 | Defining Personal Power with Felicia Sokol

In this weeks episode I talk to Felicia Sokol. Felicia is an experienced birth and post partum doula, childbirth educator and Mizan therapist. I've known Felicia for many years and did her online birth ed course before the birth of my birth child and her knowledge and wisdom really changed by perspective of birth and what I was capable of. In this episode we talk about birth but we also talk about the power of the Feminine, letting go of dogma and the war like mentality we see in the world and detaching from the identities and roles we give ourselves. I want to be very clear that when we are discussing birth it is not about one type of birth being better than the other, absolutely not. It is more about women being given the opportunity to feel powerful, heard and supported in their experience, whatever that experience looks like. Felicia has some great free resources available which you can find below. Preparing for Birth Womb Care Felicia Sokol

S2 E7 | Writing Your Own Story with Tessa Hawthorn

In this week's episode I talk to Tessa Hawthorn, Tessa is a writer, lawyer and now runs her own copywriting and content strategy business. In this conversation we talk about the stories we tell ourselves and the ways in which these stories can impact the way we see the world, the quiet power of listening to ourselves, how the work of Gabor Mate has changed the way she relates to herself, and what her new version of success looks like. I went to high school with Tessa for a couple of years before she moved interstate, and this conversation was pretty much the first we'd spoken in over 20 years, so it was pretty cool to reconnect in this way. Tessa is such a beautiful and eloquent speaker with great insight and awareness so I hope you enjoy this episode.
