Pelosi Bought Bloom Before S&P 500 Did | Where I'd Start | Market Prep Sunday
Stonkcast by Brandon Schaar
Episode notes
The Pelosi household bought Bloom Energy in July, and on Friday the S&P 500 added it.
That purchase sat in the same filing as the Intel buy I covered last week β and Intel is a Bloom data center customer. One thesis, expressed twice. The argument runs like this: everyone spent 2026 calling AI a chip trade, but data centers are waiting years for grid connections, and Bloom's fuel cells deliver on-site power without the wait. Second-quarter revenue hit a record $1.07 billion, up 166 percent, with agreements signed with Oracle, Brookfield and AEP. I'd be a buyer, and I give you the price I'd actually pay. Also: who else joined and dropped out of the index, the 337 times earnings multiple and the short report against it, Trump's ultimatum to the Fed, and Uber's robotaxi launch in London.
