Richard Baker is a five-time Walkley Award winning journalist and podcaster. After a 22-year career at Melbourne's The Age newspaper, Richard quit to launch his own multi-media production company Southern Ocean Media.

Richard has co-written and hosted numerous Australian investigative narrative podcasts, including Phoebe’s Fall, Wrong Skin, The Last Voyage of the Pong Su, The Confession, Baghdad Nights. Richard also wrote and produced the podcast "Pray Harder" exposing the coercive and abusive behaviour of one of Australia most extreme cults the Geelong Revival Centre.
