70 // Jasper Mutsaerts on 21 lessons from 10 years of entrepreneurship

Welcome to the Soul Kitchen! The meeting point of those whose journey never ends. We invite you to embark on a journey of self-discovery. Explore our Instagram page, listen to the podcast, join your Familia, and immerse yourself in the transformative atmosphere of our Vision retreats nestled in the breathtaking landscapes of Ericeira, Portugal. If you enjoyed the podcast, your ratings and reviews would be greatly appreciated! Come, be part of (y)our journey. Pura vida, Jasper Here are 21 lessons that I have learnt along the way: 1) Time: Only do, what only you can do. Delegate the rest. 2) Delegation: When delegating focus on the desired output, not the input. 3) Health: Remove alcohol from your diet. It can drastically improve your life. 4) Money: If you want to make money, collaborate with people that focus on making money. 5) Love: When in doubt, ask yourself the question: what would love do in this situation? 6) Growth: Dedicate 1/3 of your time to personal growth, 1/3 to your contribution to society and 1/3 to family, friends and freedom. 7) Consciousness: Experiment with things like breathwork, meditation, psychedelics, tantra and vipassana. You will find out why ;-) 8) People: Accept meetings from strangers. Assume that they come to you for a reason. 9) Serendipity: Don't always focus on Return on Investment. A random thing can lead to another thing later. 10) Employees: Let them pick their own job titles. They will appreciate it. 11) Customers: Aim for a 9/10 customer satisfaction and they will refer you to their friends. 12) Investors: Send them frequent updates. It builds trust. 13) Media: Invite journalists for lunch. They are humans too. 14) Assistant: Hire an assistant. So you can focus on your zone of genius. 15) Accountant: Hire an accountant. Pay your taxes on time. Solid finances is a hygiene factor. 16) Networking: Attend epic events (e.g. Burning Man, Envision Festival). Business opportunities come when you have fun. 17) Social: Share your stories and experiences on social media. People enjoy following people, not brands. 18) Mentors: Great mentors and coaches are crucial. Oprah Winfrey has four of them. Me too. 19) Risks: Often things are less risky than people want you to believe so. 20) Heart: Follow your heart. Life is too short to not do it. 21) Recipes: Create your own recipes for life. Take other people's advice with a pinch of salt ;-)
