A Wall Street Christmas Story

September 11th marks an anniversary no one wishes there was a need to have. Like many of the most traumatic moments in American history, we remember vividly exactly where we were that day, the horrific images forever seered into our individual consciousness and the consciousness of the nation. For those of us who worked on Wall Street at that time, watching the collapse of the Twin Towers where many of our friends and colleagues worked, made the events of that day even more poignant.
'tis the season for that old winter holiday chestnut, the office christmas party. Which I loathe, but slap a smile on my face and dutifully endure. At the risk of sounding like Scrooge, listen in as to why.
None of us can say we are immune to racism, but each of our experiences of it are perhaps not what others may initially think. Here are mine.
