Social media platforms are widely used by children and adolescents, these social media platforms are a portal for entertainment and communications. For this reason, it is extremely important that parents are aware of their child's activity on social media. given that not all of them are healthy environments for children and adolescents. In this episode Jamal and Julian discuss how and why parent's should monitor for potential problems with cyberbullying and exposure to inappropriate content. Although social media has it's downfalls we can't deny their benefits for children which include enhancing communication, social connection, and even technical skills.
