Today I will be discussing the pioneering work of Diana Ming Chan in the social work profession. Ms. Chan experienced a lonely childhood that led her to becoming the helping force of children and families, particularly in the San Francisco, CA, area. Ms. Chan felt it was her duty to bring positive change to the lives of children and families, and her initiatives in doing so is explored in this podcast.
