New York, 1933. Ben has gone to ground, drinking alone while Cat and Janet wonder where he is and the planned escape falls apart. When a group flush with Silvermane's stolen campaign cash mocks the washed-up spider to his face, Ben masks up and thrashes them, then gets hauled back to Robbie's office to sober up and split the antidote into doses.
