Multiple explosions have occurred across Iran, targeting IRGC buildings in several cities including Tehran, Karaj, Bandar Abbas, Ahvaz, Tabriz, and Qom. The explosions are believed to be drone attacks, possibly from within Iran, and have caused panic among the population and the IRGC. The Islamic Republic is preparing for defence, while the US has convinced Saudi Arabia to change its stance on the conflict with Iran.

Explosions occurred in Iran during a joint military exercise between China, Russia, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The US issued a warning to the IRGC to avoid escalation in the Strait of Hormuz, a vital trade corridor. The US is also reportedly planning to take control of the Strait, while simultaneously authorising potential strikes on Iran.
