Eric Nefdt-(nickname: Spinnekop) is an amazing young man. He is running to raise awareness for organ donation not only in his native country of South Africa, he's bringing his passion to the US in 2020 to run the entire Route 66! Why Spinnekop? The Spiderman suit is simply a metaphor for a Hero. Nefdt believes anybody can be a Hero and his mission, supported by Eckard, remains that of creating awareness around organ and tissue donation, whilst encouraging donor registrations. Scott Kiburz of Phoenix AZ shares the story of how they started an excited new non-profit called Candlelight Connection. Its whole focus is to expose and promote great non-profits in the Greater Phoenix area to people who can make a difference for these organizations.
Greg Jones is the CEO of 1 of the largest HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical companies in the state of Wisconsin. When his young family was challenged with a disease impacting his son, Greg got into action. Using the relationships in business, he and his company have raised almost $500,000 in the past 3 years to help find a cure.
It all started with a simple idea-How could we create a way for men in business to give back to our local communities. From there 100 Men of Dane County began.
