From the perspective of a compliance officer tasked with training new officers, these are the main things that I told them to look for when trying to do basic hazard identification. If it moves, pay attention to it. If it’s off-kilter, skewed, or just looks “off,” pay attention to it, because in machines and manufacturing, symmetry matters.
