Proverbs E7: 1:10-14, "The First Warning"

In this episode of Rock Solid Devotional, we explore Proverbs 1:10–14—a father’s urgent warning to his son not to join those who promise quick riches through violence and crime. These sinners use words like “us” and “we” to create a false sense of belonging, but their unity is built on greed, destruction, and rebellion against God.

Their promises of wealth mask a way of life rooted in exploitation. The father reveals how their words betray them—they take pride in harming the innocent and living off the plunder. Wisdom calls us to recognize these enticements for what they are and to walk away. True community and success come from obeying God, not from sharing in sin.
