A dovecote broadcast introduces agents Rook and Crow. The host, known only as The Purveyor, provides the audio of Agent Rook's investigation regarding mysterious disappearances around Esus University.
Edmund and Lester's neighbor, Quin, is skeptical about the existence of cryptids - and not without good reason. But after an unsettling encounter with a cryptid that she mysteriously forgets about, Edmund Groves is determined to prove their existence. However, in doing so, they uncover something much more sinister.
