S2 E19 Word Day Proverbs 1 Part 1 6/6/26 @RomansGals
This week we dive into Proverbs 1, exploring and unlocking the treasures of true knowledge and how the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Together we discuss hearing God's voice, receiving instruction and choosing his wisdom over the noise of the world. The Passion Translation reads in verse 7, "Stubborn Know-it-alls will never stop to do this, for they scorn true wisdom and knowledge." Wisdom is calling - are we listening?
S2 E18 A Heavenly Exchange 6/6/26 @RomansGals
What do we do when life doesn't unfold the way we expected? In this episode, Dodi and Marlo discuss why Jesus is the only way through disappointment, loss, and confusion. Building on a word from Kaleb, we explore living from our born-again spirit rather than being led by emotions, opinions, or circumstances. Using the example of Judas, we discuss how good intentions and unchecked emotions can lead us away from God's truth. Dodi shares her journey through grief and how God brought healing through a heavenly exchange—not by ignoring pain, but by surrendering it to Him. The enemy wants to keep us trapped on a counterfeit wheel, reliving the same hurts and losses. But Jesus offers freedom, healing, and a new way forward. Join us as we learn how to recognize counterfeit cycles, exchange pain for truth, and step into the freedom God has prepared for us.
S2 E17 God Rewards the Plodder: Hearing His Voice in the Ordinary 5/28/26 @RomansGals
We start our conversation by celebrating over 50 podcast episodes. It is not always easy, but God rewards the plodders who keep moving forward one step at a time, even when life feels ordinary, exhausting, or messy. This episode is a prophetic encouragement to slow down, listen for His voice, and stop disqualifying yourself from what God wants to do through your life. The world is waiting for the sons and daughters of God to arise and become instruments of righteousness in His hands. Maybe the chore in front of you is not just a chore. Maybe God is speaking. Through ordinary moments like cleaning a lanai, pulling weeds, repotting plants, scrubbing floors, and organizing life, the Lord reveals deeper spiritual truths about freedom, obedience, surrender, and hearing His voice. Join us as we discuss breaking the slave mentality, renewing the mind through the Word of God, and recognizing that everyday tasks may carry prophetic purpose far beyond what we first realize. This conversation encourages listeners to stop disqualifying themselves and begin walking by faith — one step at a time. You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. You are living proof of His work on the earth.
S2 E16 Rejecting Truth, Why Baptism 5/20/26 @RomansGals
In this episode, we encourage listeners that baptism opens the heart to hear the Word of God and receive it as truth. Through Luke 7:29, we discuss how rejecting repentance can lead to rejecting the Word itself. In Acts 19, we see that John’s baptism prepared hearts to believe in the Lord Jesus, and when Paul laid hands on them, they received the Holy Spirit, spoke in tongues, and prophesied. This episode encourages believers not to reject the heavenly realm because of earthly fear, unbelief, or religious rhetoric, but to remain open to the fullness of God’s Word and Holy Spirit.
S2 E15 Renewed in the Waiting 5/13/26 @RomansGals
What do we do in the quiet seasons of life when God feels silent and nothing seems to be moving? In this episode, Dodi and I talk about trusting the Lord in those still moments and not growing weary in well doing. We discuss laying down old habits, false identities, and accusing voices as we learn to live from a higher spiritual place in Christ. Dodi shares her testimony of how she made the resolve to follow the Lord without compromise when things appear still, but preparation is happening before the next big move. Sometimes God is doing His deepest work in the quiet. As we wait on Him, we are reminded not to conform to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
S2 E14 Word Day 4/30/26 @RomansGals
There is power in speaking the Word of God out loud. In this episode, we gather around Psalms 86—not just to read it, but to declare it over our families, our churches, and our communities. We are asking the Lord to teach us His ways, to unite our hearts in truth, and to help us walk closely with Him in every season. This conversation is an invitation to seek Him together. To slow down, listen, learn, and allow His Word to shape the way we live, speak, and love others. As we lift up Psalms 86, we pray it strengthens weary hearts, brings peace in uncertainty, and reminds us that God is near to all who call on Him in truth.
S2 E13 Grounded Trust in Chaos 4/30/26 @RomansGals
When everything feels out of control, you have to decide what you’re grounded in. In this episode, we walk through what unfolded that very day—real, raw, and unfiltered—learning to sift everything through the truth of God’s Word instead of our emotions. Out of our own pain, we proclaim His faithfulness and allow Him to separate truth from lies. This is about choosing His strength in the middle of weakness and taking small, intentional steps to rise above the fog of the moment.
S2 E12 Fruitfulness 4/20/26 @RomansGals
Welcome back, everyone! Today, we’re rooting ourselves deeply in what it means to be truly fruitful. Dodi and I start out with John 15:7 ‘If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.’ We bear much fruit by diving into the real soil of our life-giving spirit that now has the incorruptible seed of the word of God. Sit with us and listen to how love, born of God, transforms everything.
S2 E 11 You Have the Right to Feel It… But Not to Live There 4/1/26 @RomansGals
Pain, loss, anger—we’ve all felt it. But what if holding onto those things is the very thing keeping you from your true identity? In this raw and real episode, we unpack what it truly means to walk in your God-given identity. We get real about grief, healing, and the difference between what feels justified and what is actually true. This is about truth, freedom, and living fully aligned with Him.
S2 E10 You Were Called to Carry Peace, Not Chaos 3/25/26 @RomanGals
Peace isn’t the absence of conflict—it’s the presence of God in the middle of it. Jesus said, “My peace I give to you… not as the world gives.” The world’s peace is temporary and easily shaken, but the peace of God stands firm and guards your heart when everything around you tries to disrupt it. We don’t just receive peace—we choose it. We filter our thoughts, our reactions, and even accusations through truth. When our mind stays on Him, peace keeps us aligned, protects our assignment, and reminds us that we’re not fighting flesh and blood. Peace speakers become peacemakers because they carry what heaven says, not what the world shows.
